With the start of school just around the corner, here’s an easy to construct school objects mini book for your child to practise the vocabulary for things they use in class! There are seven words included in the book: bag, book, crayons, glue, paints, pencil, and scissors.
If you want to add more pages to the book, have your child think of other things he or she uses at school, then draw them on extra paper or the backs of the printed mini book pages.
See end of post for more school objects resources!
How to make the School Objects Mini Book:
- Print the book pages on normal printer paper (two sheets).
- Children cut along the large dashed lines to get eight mini book pages in total. They then colour the objects and copy the words in the spaces on each page. They can also colour the front cover and write their name on it.
- To assemble: make sure the cover is the first page. Staple all the pages together and it’s done!
